Positive: A nice, cosy cottage right next to Bamburgh Castle (a 10 minute walk) and you just need to cross the road to get to the beach. The cottage was comfortable and kitchen had all the necessary equipment we needed for our own cooking.
Negative: Although the cottage is supplied with both a log fire and electric heaters, these were all off when we arrived, so it was very cold inside the cottage! It took a while for it to heat up. We were also not given any spare toilet roll, though we were staying 4 nights. There was only one roll in each bathroom, and no spares...seemed a bit on the stingy side and also odd considering all the free tea, biscuits and cake that were left in the kitchen for us
